back to Premium Enzyme Supplement
Below is some information on specific
enzymes that are included in the premium enzymes formula, therapeutic
enzyme formula and green powder:
There is so much information on these particular
enzymes that it would be impossible to list it all here. This
is just a basic overview.
Lipase:
Helps to digest fats. When Lipase is taken
in increased quantities, it goes into the blood to help remove excess
fatty deposits from the circulatory system.
Clogged arteries (because of excess fatty deposits) can cause high
blood pressure and heart problems. But taking Lipase can help clear
these clogged veins and arteries. Lipase can also be helpful with
weight loss since it helps to maintain correct gall bladder function.
.
Lipase helps to convert fats to energy, without keeping them stored
for later use.
Lipase has been shown to be beneficial for psoriasis, gallbladder
disorders, lymphatic swelling, arterial plaque, extra weight and
chronic inflammation.
A shortage of lipase in the body may lead to high cholesterol, difficulty
losing weight, arthritis, bladder problems, gall stones, hay fever,
prostate problems, heart problems problem with electrolyte balance,
cardiovascular problems, obesity, diabetes, cystitis, diarrhea,
chronic fatigue, muscle spasms, spastic colon, vertigo (Meniere's
Disease),celiac disease, Crohn's disease, cystic fibrosis among
other ailments..
When lipas levels are low, light-colored, greasy stools can result
(called steatorrhea).
People suffering with a spastic colon may also be lipase deficient.
Protease,
Peptase, and Serrapeptase also known as Serratia peptidase:
Helps to digests proteins The proteins are broken down to their
basic building blocks - amino acids..
Protease can be helpful for people with food allergies..
Deficiency Symptoms:
Anxiety, low blood sugar, kidney problems, back problems, candida,
bacterial and viral infections, constipation, gingivitis, hearing
loss, parasites, insomnia, water retention, cancer, hypoglycemia,
irritability as well as mood swings. Since it is involved in carrying
protein-bound calcium in the blood stream a deficiency may also
influence the susceptibility for arthritis, osteoporosis and calcium
related diseases..
Protease has helped reducing bruising, swelling and infection in
surgery or injuries. It is beneficial in fighting fatigue, anxiety,
flu, PMS, fever, colds, fibromyalgia and acne. .
Protease from aspergillis (Aspergillus Niger / Aspergillus oryzae)
when taken on an empty stomach, has a very different and powerful
function. It is a phenomenal blood cleanser, able to break down
protein invadors in the blood stream, so that your immune system
is able to destroy them. .
Some common protein invaders are Parasites, fungal forms, and bacteria.
Viruses are nucleic acids covered by a protein film. Protease helps
keep the intestines protected from these invaders and helps to keep
the intestinal system strong..
Dr.Howell, the original enzyme research pioneer, developed enzyme
supplements from aspergillis oryzae (a fungus) after finding them
more effective than animal-based pancreatic supplements, which subsequent
research confirmed. Aspergillis enzymes are also unusually stabile
and active under a wide range of pH conditions, which is a very
positive point, since animal enzymes (i.e., pepsin, pancreatin,
trypsin, chymotrypsin, pancrelipase, and pancreatic amylase etc.),
normally require special pH conditions, often lacking in impaired
health conditions.
Clinical studies show that serrapeptase is a strong anti-inflammatory
(particularly for post traumatic swelling) and anti-edemic (prevents
swelling and fluid retention) and that its anti-inflammatory effects
are superior to other proteolytic enzymes.
Because one of serrapeptase's most profound benefits is reduction
of pain, physicians throughout Europe and Asia are using it in treatment
as an alternative to salicylates and ibuprofen.
Hans A. Nieper, M.D., The late German physician
used serrapeptase to treat arterial blockage in his coronary patients.
Nieper's research indicated that the protein-dissolving action of
serrapeptase will gradually break down atherosclerotic plaques.
It has been shown to be more effective and quicker than EDTA chelation
treatments in removing arterial plaque.
Research has shown that serrapeptase has been used in the successful
treatment of fibrocystic breast disease. Serrapeptase has also been
shown in clinical studies to benefit chronic sinusitis sufferers,
due to its inflammatory properties, as well as for Bronchitis (Serrapeptase
loosens and expels mucous).
In clinical studies Serrapeptase has been shown to digests dead
tissue, blood clots, cysts, protect against stroke, and causes varicose
veins to shrink or diminish.
Amylase:
Helps the digestive tract digest starches
and sugars.
Amylase could be considered a natural antihistamine. It is very
effective in helping with the symptoms of allergic reactions to
such things as asthma, emphysema, insect bites, insect bite, pollen
irritation, or contact with poison oak, ivy, or sumac.
A deficiency of amylase may occur if your diet is excessively high
in carbohydrates, since this enzyme would be used up by the body
at a tremendous rate. Symptoms may include, skin problems (rashes,
hives, herpes, canker sores), depression and mood swings (including
PMS), hypoglycemia, allergies, general fatigue, cold hands and feet,
hot flashes. Inflammation, neck and shoulder aches, arthritis, sinusitis,
eczema, sore throat and stiff joints, gluten sensitivities.
It is also involved in digesting and getting rid of dead white blood
cells (a nicer name for pus) and for this reason you might be more
prone to abscesses if you are deficient in this enzyme.
Lactase:
Digests milk and milk by-products.
Deficiency of lactase: If the intestines do not produce enough
(or any) lactase, the milk sugar (lactose) is not digested and moves
into the colon, where it is fermented by bacteria - producing hydrogen,
carbon dioxide and organic acids, which can result in diarrhea,
gas and cramps.
Maltase:
Digests maltose, malt and grain sugars.
May help relieve food and environmental sensitivities and allergies.
Invertase(Sucrase)
Digests sugars. Invertase helps prevent gastrointestinal
problems and discomfort.
Deficiency Symptoms: Lung problems, asthma, bronchitis, seizures,
hyperactivity, mood swings, insomnia, depression, chronic diarrhea,
dizziness.
Cellulase
Digests fiber. Helps remedy digestive problems
such as malabsorption.
Cellulase is a very important enzyme because the human body cannot
produce it on its own.
Cellulase helps in the breakdown of plant walls (cellulose), and
increases the overall efficiency of binding excess cholesterol and
toxins in the intestines for removal.
Cellulase may be beneficial for food and environmental allergies,
drug withdrawal, cell detox, colon cleaning and pain syndromes,
Candida(yeast infections), gas, bloating, acute food allergies,
facial pain or paralysis.
Pectinase
Breaks down carbohydrates such as pectin
(found in many fruits).
Hemicellulase
Breaks down carbohydrates called hemi-celluloses,
which are found in plant foods.
Phytase
Breaks down carbohydrates, specifically phytates
(phytic acid), present in many difficult to digest grains and beans.
Especially useful for those suffering from serious bowel disorders
which result in an inability to handle phytates from soy and gluten
from wheat, oats, rye and barley. Phytase may increase mineral absorption
and the bioavailability of iron, zinc, calcium, and magnesium.
Bromelain
An enzyme from the stem of pineapples. It
breaks down protein and fights inflammation and reduces swelling.
May speed the recovery of injuries and swelling resulting from athletics,
childbirth and surgery. Good for respiratory infections. Anti-inflammatory-speeds
healing, reduces angina and blood pressure, and improves cardiovascular
conditions, anti-cancer agent, antibacterial, angina, asthma and
bronchitis.
Bromelain may also have a beneficial effect on drug absorption,
blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, third-degree burns, diarrhea as
well as tumor growth.
People suffering from minor injuries as well as urinary tract infection
may benefit from a bromelain supplement.
Bromelain has proved to be effective in fighting certain diarrhea
causing bacteria (Escherichia coli), which makes it a perfect supplement
to take along when traveling.
Papain
Similar to the chymotrypsin, a protein digesting
enzyme produced by the body. Used to treat chronic diarrhea and
celiac disease. Treats gastrointestinal discomfort due to intestinal
parasites.
Amla Berry
Amla-Berry may strengthen digestion, absorption
and assimilation of food.
Excellent source of Vitamin C. the most concentrated form of Vitamin
C found in the plant kingdom. The Vitamin C is easily assimilated
by the human body.
It also strengthens the liver, helping it in eliminating toxins
from the body. Research shows that Amla Berry helps lower cholesterol,
supports the nervous system, flushes out toxins, increases energy
and removes fatigue, acts as an antioxidant.
Amla-Berry is especially supportive to the urinary system and can
be helpful if you experience a mild burning sensation while urinating.
In traditional Ayurvedic medicine, amla has been particularly indicated
for anemia, asthma, bleeding gums, diabetes, colds, chronic lung
disease, hyperlipidemia, yeast infections, scurvy, and cancer.
Several studies have shown that amla protects organisms against
chromosome damage from heavy metal (aluminum, lead, nickel) exposure.
Rutin
A citris bioflavonoid.
Rutin is known to increase the strength of the capillaries (blood
vessels), itās a natural substances found in plants, fruits, vegetables,
nuts, bark and buckwheat.
Citrus Bioflavonoids help protect capillaries, prevent bruising,
and intensify the effect of vitamin C in the body.
Citrus Bioflavonoids provide natural antiviral, anti-inflammatory
and anti-allergy properties. can be helpful to those suffering from
bruising, varicose veins, spider veins, arthritis, hemorrhage, phlebitis,
high cholesterol levels, herpes, cataracts, general inflammation,
bleeding gums, blood clots, scurvy, hemorrhoids, edema, and hypertension.
Coral calcium
Reported benefits: Chronic back aches ,
joint Pain, Cerebral Palsy, osteoporosis, arthritis, rheumatoid
arthritis , severe sinus infections, chronic heartburn, better digestion,
eczema, neck and back problems, Incessant pain in back of neck,
Liver Disease, fibromyalgia, Leukemia, Hemorrhoids, yeast infection,
asthma, athlete's foot, Migraine Headaches, Restless Legs Syndrome,

Disease, Weight Loss, Cancer, Joint Pain, Heart Disease, High Cholesterol,
Muscle Cramps, Kidney Stones .
The Coral Calcium story was documented by a journalist with the
Guinness Book of Records. He was sent interview a man named Shigechiyo
Izumi, who lived on a small island off the coast of Okinawa, Japan.
The Journalist was sent to see Mr. Izumi, who was, at age of 115,
the world's oldest living human being.
The journalist noticed at the time of the interview that most of
the islanders where in the same good health as Mr. Izumi. These
Islanders seldom died before the age of 95. Doctors examined Mr.
Izumi and at 115 years old they were surprised to find that he was
an extremely healthy person.
This led researchers to try and determine why the people from Okinawa
were in such amazing health. What they found was that the secret
was in the water! This water that the islanders drank was different
from any other water found anywhere else in the world. These Islands
were built up over the years by coral reefs. When rain falls, it
percolates coral deposits, picking up minerals and other elements
that make it unique. This water, they found, also contained many
essential minerals that are similar chemically to the elements found
in the human skeleton, blood and other body fluids. It was also
very alkaline, with a pH of 8.6, which scientist have concluded,
is critical to cellular health.
The islanders were disease free and lived longer because their bodies
were always at an optimum alkaline level due to the coral calcium
that was naturally added to their water.
For over two decades, the Japanese government
in Okinawa, Japan has controlled and mined the fossilized coral
sands that accumulated on the sea floor around the islands without
disturbing the living coral reefs
Alfalfa
Applications: Allergies, Anemia, Arthritis,
Asthma, Bell's Palsy, Blood Disorders, Bursitis, Cholesterol, Diabetes,
Digestive Disorders, Fatigue, Gout, Lactation, Kidney Disorders,

Alfalfa contains eight essential amino acids, is a rich source of
vitamin B12, natural fluoride and chlorophyll.
Sprouts and Grasses:
Provides carotenoids, minerals, proteins
and B vitamins.
Rich in enzymes such as SOD (superoxide dismutase) providing antioxidant
activity. These ingredients work synergistically to assist the
bodyās natural stamina, energy levels, detoxification systems
and fight against cell degeneration.
Gluten-free sprouts contain catalase, methionine reductase, SOD
and glutathione and essential enzymes.
Yoshihide Hagiwara, M.D., found that "young barley grass is one
of the most nutritionally balanced foods in nature.
Barley Grass is alkaline and abundant in vitamins, minerals, amino
acids, and active enzymes. Its deep green color is due to its
large amount of natural chlorophyll, a well-known cleanser and
deodorizer. Superoxide dismutase, an enzyme important in neutralizing
free radicals in our cells, is found in large amounts in barley
grass. Barley grass is also rich in potassium, calcium and magnesium
and, by weight, it has more vitamin C than oranges and more iron
than spinach.
Grass is a complete food containing over 80 nutritional elements
including all known vitamins and proteins.
People with wheat allergies have nothing to be afraid of from
this food. Although grass is grown from grain, it has completely
transformed into a vegetable with none of the allergic proteins
common to glutinous grains.
Grass is non-toxic at any dose, but you may have a reaction
to it because it is a potent detoxifying agent. It cleanses and
heals the large intestine. It is an excellent blood purification.
Grass is one of the planetās richest sources of high quality chlorophyll.
Chlorophyll may be the most significant therapeutic ingredient
in these grasses. Chlorophyll is known to kills harmful bacteria.
It fights strep and staph infections, bad odors in the mouth,
gum disease, and destroys putrefactive bacteria in the digestive
tract. It promotes healing of wounds by stimulating the production
of connective tissue, helps ear infection, and many more ailments.
Soy sprouts contain up to 40 percent protein, an almost
complete array of amino acids, and a stable oil content that has
naturally high lecithin and vitamin E. Soy sprouts are a good
source of many protective compounds such as Superoxide Dismutase
(SOD). These enzymes protect the body from free radical attacks.
Sprouts contain tremendous anti-oxidant type phytochemicals which
help fight Cancer, balance hormone activity, detoxify the blood,
Fatigue, Cholesterol, Appetite, Strokes and Chronic aging changes.
WHEATGRASS is one of the richest sources of chlorophyll available!
One ounce of wheatgrass is equal to two and a half pounds of leafy
green vegetables. Wheatgrass inhibits the growth of bacteria and
infection. It is a rich source for beta-carotene, calcium, iron,
protein, fiber, folic acid, vitamins K, C, B6, B12 and other trace
minerals.
