DAY
1- July 8, 2003
22 years of age, 5’11’’ tall, 234 pounds
I feel ‘fresher’ already. It was hard to turn
up the usual egg sandwich for breakfast for a bowl full of
fruits, but I did it.
On my lunch hour I ran over to the grocer and got a bowl of
veggies, and another of fruits. I waved goodbye to Burger
King as I was driving back to work. I feel good that I made
it through day one – all raw! Perhaps I ate a little
too much though… I certainly didn’t go hungry!
Headache – I cut out those pesky Pepsi-Colas today!
Breakfast:
cup of blueberries
2 clementines
1 mini box raisins
4 raw almonds
Lunch:
A medley of:
Button mushrooms
Romaine
Red and Yellow Peppers
Broccoli and Cauliflower
Dinner
Chunk of Mango
Chunk of Pineapple
Red grapes
Strawberries
DAY 2 -
July 9, 2003
I’m getting some pressure from people
around me. My boyfriend is encouraging me off this diet already,
telling me I can’t make it, it’s just too strict.
A coworker dropped off a Cinna-bun coupon at my desk, as the
person I was a few days ago would’ve loved! I had to
tear it up quickly and toss it. I received an e-mail from
Alissa today which provided me with enough courage to fight
off the negative. I know I just need to keep plugging with
this and it will become like second nature – naturally!
I’m already beginning to feel light and airy, if that
makes sense. It’s a fantastic feeling not having cooked
and fatty foods weighing you down. I ate way too many sweet
fruits today. I do enjoy other fruits and veg as well, but
I’ve just had such an overwhelming craving for these
sweet fruits! I’ll make an effort to include different
raw roods tomorrow.
Breakfast:
cup of blueberries
2 clementines
1 mini box raisins
1 banana
Lunch:
Fruit Salad with:
Strawberries
Peach
Pear
Red Grapes
Mango
Dinner
Banana
DAY 3
- July 10, 2003
I had a great day today! I was filled to
the brim with energy! I cleaned my room at my folks house
(I still live with them). Scooted all over town shopping,
got a facial, and went to my boyfriend’s place (my second
home) and cleaned the place top to bottom. At 10pm I still
had a truckload of energy after all of this I went out shopping
again! This time to buy a bunch of yummy raw foods, as my
palate is wanting more!
Breakfast:
Clementines
Raw walnuts
Lunch:
Broccoli and cauliflower
Red pepper
Spinach
Dinner
Binge on cherries
Erins's
